We are often contacted by people researching their family history who are looking for parish records in one of our churches.  We are more than happy to help but only keep the current records of baptisms, marriages and funerals in church. 

 

For any previous records please contact the Hampshire County Archive.  This is a fantastic resource where all archives are kept, not just church records.  They have an online catalogue as well as housing all the original documents.  You are able to visit and see the documents themselves, or just gather the information from their website.  Their website is:

The gravestones in St Mary's, Kingsclere were in the main removed from the churchyard during the 1960's and placed around the church.  They have been catalogued, so if you are researching a particular person or family please contact us for more information.
