Children

Children are an important part of our church life.  They are welcome at any of our services, and at both St Paul's, Ashford Hill and St Mary's, Kingsclere we have a dedicated children's area where children can play or colour during the service.

We also hold regular services which children will enjoy, and at St Mary's during the main Sunday services our children go to Junior church in the Kingsmill Room (adjacent to the church) to worship in their own way. Please bring your child to the Kingsmill Room before the service to be registered.  You are welcome to leave your child (or stay with them if that would make them happier!).  Children will re-join the congregation for a blessing at the end of the service.

ABC is our monthly service for Pre-School children and their parents or carers.  It is usually held on the third (and fifth when there is one) Monday in the month at 9.30 at St Mary's, Kingsclere.  The service lasts approximately 20 minutes and includes stories, prayers and singing.  This is followed by refreshments and plenty of toys in the Kingsmill Room.  Please see the programme for 2017 which shows the dates and themes.

Messy Church

Do you want to join together with your children and enjoy crafts and activities, a short worship and then finally share a hot dinner?  Messy Church does exactly that.  It's a place for all ages to enjoy activities based on a theme - from festivals to "prayer" or "love".  Come and join in the fun at Kingsclere Primary School.  At the moment we are holding these events each term usually on a Tuesday at 3.30-5.30pm. Dates will be advertised on the pewslips and in the church calendar.  For more information - see our Messy Church Page!

Toast for Tots

Held each Wednesday at 9.30am in the Kingsmill Room (adjacent to St Mary's) Toast for Tots is a drop-in session with refreshments (for children and adults) a chance for the children to play with toys.  Do come along and join in the fun!
